Now Hiring: Seat Fillers For Royal Wedding

Were you unsuccessful in your attempts to receive an invitation to the event of the decade? There is still a chance to get yourself close to the action in April. The Royal Wedding Planning Committee & the International Association of Event Television Producers (IAETP) have turned to to help fill some crucial roles for the upcoming Royal Wedding Nuptials.

If you are interested in being a part of the event, review the job descriptions and apply by leaving a comment on the blog post*.

Now Hiring: Westminster Abbey Seat Fillers*

William (Wills) and Kate Middleton (Kate) will be tying the knot in front of Millions of people on April 29th, and IAETP television producers want to make sure there are no empty seats in Westminster Abbey.

With the wedding ceremony slated to run more than 1.5 hours, producers are worried guests may need to visit the loo – and nothing looks worse on television than a gaping hole in the audience three rows behind Camilla.

If you are accepted as a Royal Wedding Seat Filler, an IAETP Producer will place you in a guest’s seat in Westminster Abbey when they get out of their seat (to schmooze, visit the loo or escape Elton John’s overbearing cologne), and when they return you give him/her their seat back and wait for the next opening.

If you are interested in becoming a Royal Seat Filler, please leave us a comment below letting us know why you have the best bum for the job. As compensation for your services, all selected applicants will receive a Royal Wedding gift collection including a Union Jack iPhone Case, Wills & Kate bobble Head, and a Royal Wedding Commemorative Bible.

*Dear Lawyers: Yes, this is an April Fools Joke, and in no way represents an actual offer of employment.
