According to Computer World UK, the demand for IT workers has outstripped supply since 2008. This means that more roles have been advertised than there are people trained to fill them. The long term fear is that not enough people are being trained to fill future roles. Schools need to encourage students to fill these roles.
According to Karen Price, CEO of e-skills UK, said: “While this is good news for IT professionals seeking employment in the sector, the drop in the number of ready candidates with the required set of skills may start to become a problem for recruiters.
If you have the skills for IT roles, you are in luck. Have a look at our open vacancies to see what is available. If you don’t have the skills, start looking for opportunities for training. We have a partnership with Home Learning College. They have courses that can help increase your IT skills.
